MARIMEKKO x adidas

This project was very special to me as I got to work with Marimekko and some of their most well-known prints.
It was great experiencing the meticulousness and attention to detail that was in focus for this project from both parties to make the best of our two worlds meet.

The unikko print

Second drop of this collaboration revolved around Maija Isola’s iconic and expressive flower print Unikko. Having studied textile design, and being introduced to Marimekko’s amazing world of prints at an even earlier stage, working with this print was a very special assignment to me.
The print is so expressive and yet very versatile. Each shoe got a different personality based on how the print was used.
